Hayleys Fabric believes that Societies and Local communities we work in should benefit from our presence. CSR addresses various issues like human rights, health and safety, education and anything associated to wellbeing of social and environmental sustainability.

Hayleys Fabric PLC is a SEDEX member since 2016 and officially follows ETI base code. Sedex is one of the world’s leading ethical trade service providers, aiming to improve working conditions in global supply chains.

The ETI Base Code is founded on the conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and is an internationally recognized code of good labour practice.

Community engagements

Local Workforce

Local WorkforceHayleys Fabric is the largest employer in the village we are located. Approximately 75% of our total workforce are villages within a radius of 15 kilometers. Company continuously invests in employees by providing them training to address the competency gaps identified at the bi-annual performance appraisal. These training activities range from in-house training programs to sponsoring career related tertiary academic qualifications.

Local suppliers

Local SupplliersWe promote the use of local suppliers where appropriate.

Sawdust for our biomass plant, Transportation services, Canteen services, Cleaning and grading services are provided by local suppliers in the village we operate.
